The name itself is a tribute to their moonlit deity, Selá, a goddess of the night, as she casts her tender light like pearls upon the restless sea.

Each piece has a brass base that is galvanised. Then each piece is layered with either 18+ carat (18+K) gold or 24 carat (24K) silver to a thickness of three-microns with matte gilding on top.
